Can't do that in Venezuela without ending up with an obsolete AK-47 pointed at your head or ending up in prison. Just another dictator with self interest. He stole thousands of dollars from us.

While they may critized the US dollar, practically every notary or government official I met down there has a Miami bank account, would do anything for me to get my wife or daughter out of there until I made a sizable contribution. Extremely corrupt government. Still have a lot of money we can't get out of that country, and just recently, worth 46% less. The number of shacks increased drastically, yet they claim he is for the poor.

From what I've read he left a fortune of $2 billion US, something lower class Venezuelans don't seem to understand since they still think he was Jesus reincarnate. He gave a lot to the poor, which didn't need much to see a change in their way of living. Meanwhile, the middle class struggled to stay afloat since they outnumber all other social classes. Unfortunately, corruption is still king and if Maduro has his way, just like Chavez did, he will win this year's elections.
