I do not know a specific answer to your question but I would just like to share my own experience with you although I am a K1 filer.

I received my NOA2 on 22nd February 2013

NVC received the petition on 27th February 2013 -- 5 days

Petition left NVC for US embassy in Auckland on 06th March 2013--7 days

Petition received by the US embassy in Auckland on 12th March 2013-- 6 days.

The reason why I have posted the timeline above is because my NOA2 date is later than you. I wont tell you to be concerned but certainly to push for inquiring as to exactly what has happened to your approved petition. It may have been misplaced or we do not know what it is. Normally at best the time gap between NOA2 and NVC should not be more than 2 weeks. In my case it was 5 days.

I have to admit that I literally chased my fiancee to call the NVC to find out the status of our approved petition. And today I have called the US embassy to find out if they received our approved petition from NVC. All I can say is there is nothing wrong in being proactive and making inquiries if you feel at any stage --a particular process is taking longer than usual.

I wish you all the very best.

Cheers.

You have a K1 petition, it is different.

Many of the I-130s are delayed being sent and entered into the NVC.

your wife should call NVC 603-334-0700. and ask if they have received your file. It takes anything from few days to weeks. Sometimes there is a hold up of the file USCIS and you never know until you start making those calls.

Also find time to read through this thread es pecially the first TWO POSTS. It has a wealth of information that will help you.

thank you so much for that link just read it, and thanks for the phone number. I will tell my wife that we should be getting a little concerned and that she needs to start calling them, i don't suppose it would be worth my while calling the Embassy in London? also i'm flying out for our 8th wedding anniversery in a few days time as a vacation i was really hoping it would be here by now, oh well got this far i guess a few more weeks won't make much more differnce lol
