I called the NVC almost everyday. They haven't receive the files from USCIS until now. I was approved on march 1,2013 does anybody enhance me how long do we have to wait for me to get a case # assign? Thank you..any thought is highly appreciated.

I called NVC today and they already assigned a case number for my parents.

They got the case last Feb 26. It took about 9 business days in my case.

You should be the next! Also, I have read in one of the threads here that you can

actually call and ask Uscis for the tracking # to make sure your case arrived at NVC.

I called them today they said they received it today but no case number. Call back in about 30 days is what I was told.

Keep calling everyday. It should get there anytime now.

Oh wow,,that long :) but hey, we should be cheerful in some way at least we are one step ahead...I will call them everyday...thank you guys for a quick response...

Case file arrival at NVC takes anywhere from few days to several weeks. Even whenit arrives, it takes some more days to actually assign the case number. Its hard to tell how each individual case will fare.

Just keep calling them every few days even if they say call back in 20/30 days :yes:

09/26/2012: Mailed I-130 from Nigeria( delayed by customs)
USCIS stage ( 66 days)
10/12/2012: NOA 1
12/17/2012: NOA 2 (case was transferred to NYC office 11/27/12)
NVC stage ( 20 days)
01/08/2013: Case # and IIN assigned ( file arrived NVC mail room 12/20/12)
01/09/2013: AOS invoiced and paid, DS-3032 emailed and mailed.
01/16/2013: IV invoiced &paid. AOS & IV mailed in one package(arrived 01/18).

01/28/2013: Case complete!!!
04/19/2013: Interview; APPROVED!!!!!
05/13/2013: POE; JFK
