There is not much to do but wait. You can try contacting the ombudsman and see if they can get you information on whats going on with the case/it might make them start working on the case.

Other then that just sit and wait until you can apply for citizenship which should be soon? Then that will force them to adjucate your ROC papers while you just skip that and go for citizenship.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Thank you for the reply.

Where should i call? i tired to call the 1800 number and there is no option to talk to a representative.

i just made an info-pass appointment.

so you think that would help ?

i am very lost and so confused:(

Info pass might be able to help yes, thats kind of like contacting the ombudsman. You could go to the info pass and send an email over to ombudsman as well if you want. No harm in trying to hit both avenues.

This is the email address for the ombudsman OLUInquiries@dhs.gov

Just explain in detail what the problem is - you haven't had any updates and case hasn't moved etc. leave your name, case number, date filed etc for them.

Did you get a stamp in your passport when you were there? If your extension letter expires soon I would suggest doing that.

I don't know if you'd be eligible to file for citizenship yet since you and your wife are splitting but I know some people have gone ahead and done that when ROC took too long.

Otherwise I think you'll just have to wait longer. You can also contact your congressman once you are outside the normal processing times. That might help get the ball rolling.

If I were you I would put a service request, call the 1800 number and call also your congressman and senator if you want to. If you check the website they are working on july 16th now. you are way behind. Do all of those and I hope you here something soon.

Besides waiting, calling and emailing, you could fill in your time line please and give everyone a better view on the averages here in VJ.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

hello,

Thank you all for advice,

i called the 1800 number and the customer representative said, he is going to send the information. And he is going to do the service request since it been taking more than the average time.

They ask me to wait 15 days to hear from them.

i think i ll wait 15 more days, but i am in a situation where my wife can file for divorce anytime.

should i still wait for 15 days and if not hear anything then make an appointment with Congressman?

thank you

For my time line, i don't know how to add those details in the form. i was at the form but did not understand how that work, so i am going to write it here, hope that helps for other too:

It seems VSC is really really far behind. We were first there too. Then after requesting a service request our file was sent to a local office and had an interview. All I can say is call them and request a service request and wait. If it gets closer to the expiration to your stamp in your visa make another infopass and get an updated stamp. We have been trying to get my husband's 10 year greencard for a year and 2 months. When I asked about applying for citizenship because he is eligible for it, we were told you can go ahead and send in the application and the fee for it but all it will do is take the money you paid out for the application and it will sit until the 10 year greencard is in production. So if you have the money saved up for your citizenship go ahead and fill out the N-400. As for us, we are saving the money in case we need to go that extra mile and hire an immigration lawyer.

Hope you hear something soon.

First thing first, make an InfoPass appointment to your local office and get an I-551 stamp to extend your status for another year.

Next step, if you are qualified to become a citizen (still married, 3 years minus 90 days of your "PR Since date" on the card), and it's your ultimate goal, then file for N-400.

Last step, optional, get hold of your local congressman/congresswoman and seek help.

You gotta push them.
