My fiancée will be travel to USA on k1 visa. She is traveling via Dubai where she has 10 hours of stop in Dubai and the airliner have provided her a room to rest. So, my question is that can she leave the airport if she is coming to USA on k1 visa? Will that cause any problem here in US at the POE?

Have you looked up the India traveling requirements? Does she need a transit visa if she leaves the airport to enter that country? The K-1 only lets her into the USA no other country.

Dubai has nothing to do with K1 visa, you need to check Dubai's requirement if they require passenger to have a tourist or transit visa.

I have never come across such arrangment where airline is providing room during the transit.

Yes, they will provide you with a room if you have 10 hour or long stay over at the airport.

Are you sure you're not confusing "the room" with the airline's lounge? They often have amenities in the airlines lounge if the passenger is a member.

I also have never heard of an airline reserving a room outside of the airport for a passenger's layover.

I found this for you: http://www.emirates.com/english/plan_book/dubai_stopovers_on_arrival/dubai_stopovers_on_arrival.aspx

I hope it helps.

You can keep clicking the links within the page to find more info on the Visa requirements etc. It looks like she’d need a pre-approved visa (not an airport one) but I couldn’t figure out how to do that.

Good find!

To the OP, if she booked a package as hikergirl indicated with the link above, it looks like they should provide her with a 96 hour UAE visa. What kind of package did she book? The booking should include details. What airline is she flying?

I am the petitioner.
