I'm curious when people work on their I-693 portion of the AOS. How long did it take for you make an appointment, and how long was the visit and about how much did it cost? When my wife took her medical exams at St Luke's in Manila, there weren't any problems. Then when I read her her exam sheet the results in part 2 were checked as:

Vaccine History Incomplete.

and another checked portion: Applicant may be eligible for blanket waiver(s) because vaccine(s) not medically appropriate(as Indicated Above)

There is only one civil surgeon in my area and they tell me that the costs can range anywhere from $130-$600 which is quite a large margin. I'm curious if any other VJ folks who had similar results on their med exam and what the costs were for your I-693

I-693 was $35 - you needa look else where for a different civil surgeon, those prices are outrageous. I didn't even end up needing mine but not sure if it works the same way from the Philippines. Someone may be able to clarify if you even need to do the 693 for her or not.

I agree with you on the steep prices especially after having shelled out several hundred for the medical exam in the Philippines at a US approved medical facility. The closest Civil Surgeon out of my area would be about 4+ hours away...

$40 We were only there long enough to get the vaccination info transcribed. Some civil surgeons try to ream ya for a physical when they only need to transcribe the info.

Three years ago, I paid $40 to a civil surgeon for the I-693 transcription. He only requested to see my vaccination form from St. Luke's. I picked him after asking a fellow VJ member who has also lived in Los Angeles (she was almost done with AOS at that time). Before that, I contacted at least five civil surgeons from the USCIS website but they gave overpriced quotes.

Check out the VJ Wiki and see if you could find another civil surgeon. Some members contributed to this list in a standalone thread a few years ago before it became a Wiki entry.

SLEC gave me Tdap, MMR, and my first shot against HPV. I was supposed to have two more shots of Gardasil in the US but decided to skip them.

Unfortunately there is only 1 Civil Surgeon in the surrounding 3 counties where I live and the closest Civil surgeon from there is 4+ hours away, the cost in gas alone would be about $100 to travel to next closest facility. San Jose is like 8 hours from where we live and Sacramento 7. Hopefully I can just get it transcribed and reduce the cost somehow.
