my son just got home from monterey.............loved it there..even if he was at the Presidio

Point is our perception of things is often skewed.

Too bad so many people refuse to believe that about Texas.

I often find it somewhat amusing when people come here from other states and are disappointed that things don't look like the "Wild West" or that there aren't any cowboys riding horses shooting each other. Things just look like every other city in every other state -- you have your skyscrapers, smog, traffic, rude people, nice people, weird people, etc. Pretty boring, really.

It's amazing though. I've actually known people from other states who've asked me "do you ride a horse to work?"

my son just got home from monterey.............loved it there..even if he was at the Presidio

I was at the presidio last saturday. i thought i recognized a resemblance with the picture in your avatar.

the presidio is justa na amazing place. just a mer 1/2 mile away is some of the most goregeous views in the world... on the cliffs overseeing the pacific ocean. man, that was a beaut!

monterey is another awesome spot. hope yuor son had a nice time.

Actually, West Edmonton Mall is now only the largest mall in North America. Last I checked, the largest mall in the world is somewhere in China. Although the United Arab Emirates was going to be building an even bigger one, so who knows who has the largest mall now?

Actually, West Edmonton Mall is now only the largest mall in North America. Last I checked, the largest mall in the world is somewhere in China. Although the United Arab Emirates was going to be building an even bigger one, so who knows who has the largest mall now?
