If memory serves me correctly, He "tried marajuana but didn't inhale" A picture of him smoking pot came up during his first run at the presidency.

But, it happened while he was in England, so technically, he didn't admit to breaking any US laws. The man did know how to parse a sentence!

That's "substance abuse" to you?

Under Federal law, Marijuana is classified under "Schedule I" of controlled substances, meaning it has a high potential for abuse and no currently accepted medical use.

Sorry if you don't agree with the law, but Marijuana meets the definition, under the law.

So someone who smokes marijuana a few times is a substance abuser? On par with DUIs and cocaine habits? Okay then.

Indeed. What always bothered me during Clintons presidential term was that the American public were more concerned about the Monica Lewinski scandal than they were the Lawrence Livermore Lab scandal and IMHO, that bordered on commiting treason for campaign contributions.

Actually no, but it was considered substance abuse back then, and against the law.. What bothered me was his answer when the question was posed to him.

I wasn't asking about his answers to questions, though. I asked if he was a substance abuser and what he's been arrested for. Turns out the only answer is that he may or may not have smoked pot before. That's all it takes to be a substance abuser, I guess.

sub·stance a·buse

Noun

Overindulgence in or dependence on an addictive substance, esp. alcohol or drugs.

I fail to see how he was overindulgent or dependent on marijuana.

Is somebody that only masturbated a few times a self-abuser?
