I130, i485 and i765

Hello everyone!

I do not know anyone else i can discuss this with so im hoping yall can advise me or share any info.

My husband(usc) and i sent our i130, i485 and i765 all at the same time to thr chicago lockbox on feb 22. The uscis received this on feb 26 and until now we have not received an email or a text message, cheques were not cashed and it is already the march 11. I am just getting worried as i am going through people's timelines and theirs all seem to have been cashed and notices received within 9 days or less. Just a little bit worrying. What should we do? Or ...what can we do?

It can take up to 30 days for USCIS to cash the cheques and issue you the NOAs.

please tell us the reason you submitted the I-130 with the pile?

if you married within 90 days of coming into the USA on a K-1 visa, the I-130 is not needed unless you are filing 2 years past the POE date.

My husband and I married in the 90 days and we submitted the i130 so he can travel back to England in case of an emergency. Was this wrong?

did you mean the i131, the i130 is for petition of spouse, but when someone is adjusting status from k1 the i130 isn't required

I think you meant the i131 travel document

the i130 has nothing to do with traveling and should not have been submitted

I also sent my paperwork for i485 to the Chicago Lockbox on March 18th and was signed received on March 19th. However I have not gotten a note in the mail nor an email (I submitted the G-1145 form) as the acceptance. My check hasn't been cashed yet either.

When I filed the I130 previously, the check was cashed within 3 days. I just hope there is nothing wrong with the application.

you don't file the i130 if you entered the country on a K1 visa
