We got another NOA1 in the mail saying:

Notice Type: Transfer Notice.

This is to advise you that in order to speed up processing we have transferred the above case to the following INS Office for processing:

California Service Centre.The office will notify you when we have made a decision on this case.

We both got one, me and my daughter.

Ask me anything about the K1, but im still learning about the AOS side of things. What does this mean?

You may be one of the lucky ones whose case(s) get transferred to CSC and then the greencard(s) are issued without the hassle of AOS interview(s)! I think its a good thing! There's probably more feedback to be had on this in the AOS forum...

It means that your case had been transfered CSC for ur AOS and u get the decision by CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER

It means that you will not be having a AOS interview and your case will be adjudicated at the CSC.

Oh wow, OK..... I suppose after all the holds up i had with the K1, this is a godsend.

Also we have not had biometrics yet as we moved and missed the biometrics exam, we notified the INS of the change of address and got a letter stating they had changed the information, now we are just waiting on that.

Anyone know who i could call regarding changing the appointment?

Our lawyer is doing it but id like to call to.

Since it wasn't clear to me either, I had to turn to a dictionary to help me understand what it meant.

If only the USCIS were to use simpler words and English language layman terms.

Our lawyer is doing it, but I'd like to call too.

Not even a lawyer would've understood the meaning of the letter. Good thing you didn't show it to him.

Is there any need to use this form if the fiance is not in the country yet? Do you know if there is a different form for the petitioner to change their address with USCIS before the fiance has their interview?
