General Student Visa Questions

Hi everyone,

Sorry if this has been addressed previously. I looked but could not find the answers.

Now that I have my wife here, I was hoping to help get the rest of our family get here.

I know once she becomes a USC she can petition, but that seems like so long away.

My question is more for her brothers, both are young (21 & 25), if they got accepted in a school here in the US how difficult is it to actually get the student visa? The last thing we want to do is pay a school only to be turned down by immigration.

I don't know what other info you might need to answer this question, neither brother has any police or drug, etc problems...so those types of qualifications don't concern us. It is just the "normal" qualifications.

Thanks in advance,

Rafa

Student visas to reputable colleges (as opposed to community colleges/ beauty schools/ shady private colleges) tend to be quite easy to get. Remember that college for an out-of-state/ out-of-country student is expensive, and they cannot work here (well, only very limited hours on campus), and will need to go home after 4 years, or whenever the course is over.
