Hello All,

I am new here. I am in process of filling out the g-325 and it's asking me for an File Number (the alien number) I originally immigrated to US about 14 years ago and have an A number in my Russian passport. I've since become a US citizen through naturalization and have a US passport. Should I use my A number in the G-325a?

Thanks for the help.

The form asks for both an A# and US SSN, so I say if you have both use both. After all the G-325A is a biographical history of the person it is being prepared for.

Isn't the A# in the Naturalization papers? My husband's A number is written there. We wrote both his A# and SS# for his G-325.

NO

You have no "A" number any longer. You are a citizen. What is in your Russian passport is of no consequence.

List them as best as you can remember. Month and year is all that is needed and you only need to go back 5 years. If you are off a little bit...no problem.

The G-325a is used for these visas to sort out name matches on "bad guy" lists for the most part. It is a reference sheet to sort out one "John Doe" from another "John Doe"

Spasibo!

Another question, if i may, while i have your attention. We have over 140 pages worth of skype history. Should we translate it all and attach as proof of a bona fide relationship? How much is enough?

I used 6 conversations each from a different month, organized chronologically, but what made them important for me to include them is our topic was about getting married. If you include ALL your skypes, that would be information overload for the adjudicator processing your case.
