Hi everyone:

I paid AOS fee already today and still showing as in process. Do I have to wait until it says PAID in order to send AOS package to NVC?

Also both sponsor and co-sponsor need to provide copy proof of US citizenship right? or just co-sponsor?

And my wife and I live in the same address, I need to send proof of same residence, ie drivers license of both, or something that shows both names on same address? I've read somewhere but I'm overwhelmed with all the information I forget where I read it :) Sorry for this being repeated. Could someone please help me sending a list of what need to be sent w/ AOS package?

Thanks again all.

It's best to wait until it shows "PAID" before sending the package.

When it shows paid you can print the cover sheet and send your IRS transcript of 2012. You have to fill out i864 on the computer then print it and its part of AOS. If your co-sponsor lives with you then fill out i864a, otherwise i864 for you and the co-sponsor. Also trancript of co-sponsor for most recent year 2012. You attach the cover sheet on top of all the documents. You can read their instructions for AOS and get all the info. I am going thru the same process.

It was already established that the principal sponsor is a US citizen when the petition was approved since you have provided the proof when you sent in your petition.

Maybe wait until the next day when it shows in your bank account that the money has been taken out. In my case, they took the money the next day & the status in the payment portal still showed IN Process. But I did wait for a few more hours that day till it changed to PAID. Then I went to the Post office to mail off my AOS packet.

I didn't send proof of same residence for me & my spouse (co-sponsor). I don't think it is necessary. When I called NVC I asked if they reviewed my AOS & if everything was complete. The operator told me that unless a received a checklist I shouldn't worry about my AOS.

I followed what was recommended by VJ Wiki for my AOS Packet(s)

I-864 Cover Sheet with barcode

Your cover sheet

I-864 Signed & Dated

I-864A (Co-sponsor)

3 years Tax Return or Tax Transcript copies

Pay stubs from the most recent six months

Employment Letter

Proof of Citizenship ( Co-sponsor)
