Hey all,

I know this topic is all over the site, but I am still a little confused. I know that as soon as I get a case number I can request an expedite. I have the reasons that would qualify me to get it approved. NVC contacts the embassy regarding the case. If it says yes, all my papers are sent to the embassy right? okay, here are my questions:

1) Does the interview date get assigned before it leaves NVC?

2) Does the embassy contact the beneficiary requiring them to submit packet 3 and 4, or is that in DCF only? Does the beneficiary submit it all on the interview date?

3) any other information will help me so much please! I am in urgent need for this expedite. Please let me know what can I do.... :help:

THANKS!

I unfortunately cannot help but, to share my experience, I decided against requesting an RFE at the NVC stage because it seems that cases get currently approved within 1 - 2 weeks and I was afraid that the sole review of my request would take the same amount of time than an actual "case complete".

I feel like I might be able to speed things up with the interview after case complete.

For more well-informed members here, does that reasoning make sense?
