Hey. Mailed mine on 3/4, signed for on 3/6, checked cashed on 3/11. I have NOT received any other kind of notice. And yes I did attach Form G-1145.

We got the NOA1 yesterday I think, we got the email saying the case is accepted, that is the first NOA right?

Yes that is the NOA1. Save that and when you get the NOA2 in the future you need to save that. If you lose it you will have to pay $400 for a duplicate. You will need it for the AOS when your loved one is in the US after marriage.

We sent our 129-f k1 petition tot he Vermont Service center dec 4th. Received NOA1 about 10 days after that. We are 3 months and counting waiting for the NOA2. Our lawyer says about mid June we can expect an approval.

Received the I-797 in the mail on 3/15. Says the notice date is 3/8. The wait begins.....

It can take a few weeks to get the NOA1. If you sent payment by check, see if it was cashed; that way you know for sure they received your application.

I just got an email from USCIS saying that our case status changed to: Initial review. does this mean that they are looking at it and the NOA2 will come soon or could we still be waiting a long time?
