B2- tourist visa

Hello everyone,

I need an advice from you. Me and my husband are waiting for approval of spouse visa. Noone knows how long it may take, maybe a half year maybe a year. Now i have an idea to apply B2 - tourist visa, because we are going crazy being apart from each other so long :=((

I know i can apply but is there someone who had a such experience like mine:

1. I don't work almost 7 months

2. My husband supports me monthly and he's ready to sponsor my travel

3. Actually nothing keeps me here (from their view), but i have mother who's dear to me and i am keep all terms very srong way and when the right time comes i'll be back to Kazakhstan to be interviewed for CR1

Please tell me who had a such experience and how long it took for receiving tourist visa in hands

Your chances are very low, because your ties to your country are weak and you clearly have immigrant intent. Still, a denial of the tourist visa won't impact the CR-1, so if you have the money it is worth a try.

Yes, buti have a strong interest to come back for CR1 visa,it's worth it, cos noonewould risk with that

In your mind, you will return for your interview but how can they be convinced of that? Its just gonna cost you money so why not give it a try and if it works fine.

Good luck. As others have said, the Consulate will undoubtedly use the "no strong ties to Kazakhstan" card, especially since you are unemployed and have applied for a CR1. It's better for him to visit you so you don't complicate matters worse. I hear Almaty though is somewhat "easier" in issuing B2 visas than in Astana. Let us know what happens.

Thank you for advises, i was surprised there were many people and most of them visa was approved, unfortunately i didn't get my visa, i just feel sorry about my husband, he was really frustrated :=(
