Ditto!

Put some oil into my car and was able to get it to start this morning. It's only been 4,000 miles since my last oil change, but I guess old cars have to get it done more often??? Anyway, I'll be taking it to Jiffy Lube during my lunch hour.

That's about it from me. Just work. Have a super Tuesday!

it varies, nowadays my truck tells me when it needs new oil. the car i've always done at about 2500 miles. if you run synthetic oil it's even longer on the oil changes

Yeah, my car tells me too and I used to get well over 5,000. Either the gauge is broken or I've been even more unobservant than usual. Or it's another problem entirely, but I'm guessing that since it started when I put in some oil that must be the problem.

Oh well, next time I will not pretend that the little sticker that they give me is just a ploy to get my money.

It also deends on howlong it takes you to drive 3000 miles and how much of that is just sitting in traffic- stop and go driving. I put 3000 miles in 6 months so I change it every 3-4 months instead. My dad swears its the cheapest way to keep a car running forever
