I was placed in line today for interview do you know how long before for me to get the letter for the date of the interview

about 3-4 weeks. on average

Current cut off date F2A - Current

Dec 30 2010 - Notice of Action 1 (NOA1)
May 12 2011 - Notice of Action 2 (NOA2)
May 23 2011 - NVC case # Assigned
Nov 17 2011 - COA / I-864 received
Nov 18 2011 - Sent COA
Apr 30 2012 - Pay AOS fee
Oct 15 2012 - Pay IV fee
Oct 25 2012 - Sent AOS/IV Package
Oct 29 2012 - Pkg Delivered
Dec 24 2012 - Case Complete
May 17 2013 - Interview-Approved

Oh actuly I just remem my brother wife filin for him from jan of this yr from Jamaica do you know how long it usually take too get thru

as a US Citizen about 10 months

as a LPR takes about 2-2.5 yrs with current processing times.

I have a next question ricardo if I have too travel right after the interview is there away that I can get my passport asap

at some (or all) of the regional offices you can get your passport as quick as 1 business day with a heavy cost. im sure if not someone will correct.

you may alo call them at 1-877-487-2778 to confirm

Ricardo next Question I got my brother weddin to go too I. May in the Caribbean if I get a interview in may. Can I reschedule? I would only be out for 4 days
