so i am busy and unorganized i have not send the form yet.i have two questions!!!

1. my green card expires 5.9.13 and today is 3/8/13 omg!!!!we just paid our rent and we have to wait til Monday to send it!!is it going to be okay?? or do i have to attach a letter saying why i am late?? i know its in 90days period but i waste 1month

2. my evidence seems very short compares to other people, we have moved 3 times in 2 years and unfortunately we have lost some of our stuff..i know i should have kept them in better place but it happens..and we don't have credit card or joint health insurance

so this is what we have:

bank statements

joint tax returns

few pictures

3 different address showing documents( lease agreements/bank statements/other letters)

and thats it!!its way too short compares others..what should i do? we don't go to Costco or other club member require places..we enjoy out side activities that doesn't cost money.

we have moved from Ga to Co and cost a lot of money!!!oh no!!

You are not late. You are allowed to send it so that it arrives there before May 9, 2013. You did not waste the month but you should start soon.

No one can tell you if your evidence is enough or not. It really depends on the USCIS Examiner on the day they review your file. If they feel more information is needed you could receive an RFE.

Did you have any trips together?

Use anything to show you are living together. Did you get drivers' licenses or IDs in Colorado. Did you have them from GA?

You don't have any joint credit card?

Life insurance policy.

Doctor bills for each of you from the same doctor. Something that shows your lives are together. You use the same dentist.

Good luck.

It would be great if you had wills, medical powers of attorney, and other such legal documents that indicate your coupled status. I'm not a lawyer, but you might find some "do it yourself" will templates for your state of residence, fill in the details, have the documents witnessed & notarized (whatever the procedure is in your state), and include copies of those in your ROC filing.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Here is the time calculator: Filing Date Calculator

Send as much as you are able to, including 3/4 affidavits from friends, business associates etc. Each is a stand alone application, better to throw in the kitchen sink than get a RFE, with a 8-10 month wait time as it is.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

In addition to the suggestions above, how about:

3 sworn affidavits from friends/family

Car insurance & car title with both names on it

Life insurances

Utility bills (electricity, water, cable & internet, etc.)with joint names on them.

If you have a pet, show veterinarian receipts with both names on it.

Those are what we sent, along with the monthly bank statements from the time we were married, joint tax returns, health insurances, pictures, and a one night hotel-stay receipt that i had the front desk put in both our names. Anything other than junk mail with both names I used.

I did a cover letter and listed the labels. I grouped my evidence into the following with neatly labeled tabs and jumbo clips:

INSURANCES

BANK STATEMENTS

JOINT TAX RETURNS

PICTURES (I copied and pasted pictures stored on laptop into microsoft word and typed a brief description of who was in photo, date, and circumstances surrounding such, like thanksgiving dinner, funeral, etc and printed them out. I also copied and pasted pictures we've uploaded to facebook along with friends' comments and printed all these out from microsoft word. ) If this is too much for you, I guess you can send the pics like that and write at back the date taken, people in pic and circumstances etc. A friend of mine who used to work for immigration and did my Adjustment of status paperwork advised me that these snippets of information on the pics that applicants send are very helpful for both the applicant and the IO.)

AFFIDAVITS

UTILITY BILLS

CAR TITLE & REPAIR

OUR PET

I'd like to mention also that the friend I spoke of earlier also advised me that what can help your application is to ensure your package is neatly arranged, with tabs & jumbo paper clips that separate all your pieces of evidence into neat bundles. Yes they will pull everything apart, but it still shows proper organization and it may help to lessen the chances of getting an RFE. I never got an RFE, and I did the I-751 on my own this time, because I was being cheap. lol

Hope this helps.
