I-129 F petition was filed back in June 27, 2012, it was approved on February 4th, 2013. It been over a month now, and National visa center (NVC) hasn’t receive my papers. NVC advise me to call U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to find out where my paper work is. Every time i call the NVC they say that they haven’t received my case yet as of March 7th, 2013. I did a service request with USCIS to find out what happened to my case, they sent me a letter stating that they mailed my case to NVC on Feb 4th 2013, but NVC is stating that they don’t have me in their system. Every time I call to inquirer from both NVC and USCIS on my case, nobody seems to know what is going on. My approved petition is only good for 4months, which will be June 4th, 2013. I feel like somehow they lost my paper work and they are hesitant about informing me. I paid the fee $340 for the petition and i haven’t received any good service from Both USCIS and NVC. I will be forever grateful. I can’t believe things like this happen in the United States, where nobody can tell you have is going on.

Did you sign the privacy release they require? They will not be able to help unless you do that.

Usually they have a form on their site that you can download, complete, and then fax to them. They need this release otherwise USCIS cannot legally communicate with them about your case.

I did sign for the senator, I had to hand write my letter n sign it too. But my congressman I emailed, so hopefully he will let me know if I need to sign something. It reall strange that I never received my noa2 hard copy n NVC hasn't received my case either.

Yes, it unbelievable. They state that since I never received it n the post office didn't return it back to them, they consider it lost. So I have to pay to get a copy
