i wrote a general complaint about the slow processing times to the USCIS ombudsman today. i got the expected auto-reply e-mail which stated the following:

Thank you for contacting the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman (Ombudsman’s Office).

You may submit a case problem online through Form DHS-7001 to the Ombudsman’s Office. If you currently have a case pending with the Ombudsman’s Office and have already submitted your case online, you will receive a separate email acknowledging your case submission and addressing your question. If you have not submitted a Form DHS-7001, Case Assistance Form, or you have not submitted your case online, we will not respond to this email. Please see our website for additional information about your case submission.

Please note the Ombudsman’s Office is independent of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Our statutory mission is to assist individuals and employers who experience problems when filing applications or petitions with USCIS. If you have a legal question, you should seek an experienced immigration legal service provider. Please see below for a list of Frequently Asked Questions, including information about U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and the U.S. Department of State.

Sincerely,

The Office of the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman

U.S. Department of Homeland Security

i included the important links in the copied text, which are "submit a case problem" and "form DHS-7001".

neither of both those links works for me! neither for my fiancé who i asked to try it.

the first one sends me to a page stating "access denied" and the pdf tells me that i probably don't have the most current version of acrobat reader, which i do!

has anybody had the same experience? or knows why those links are not working?

i sent my e-mail to the same address that can be found in the signature of the auto-reply. should i try another one?

You may submit a case problem online through Form DHS-7001 to the Ombudsman’s Office.

I was able to open both of those links. The first one had no issues, and the second on said that Adobe Reader needed my permission to run, but after I clicked "Run this time", it opened the pdf file.

Maybe you can try different browser. I am using Google Chrome 25.0.1364.152.

I can open the PDF in the second link, but tried the first one in CHrome and IE and got an error.

I'm sure it is intentional so they don't have many complaints to respond to.

Error!

Not a K-1 process or procedure question. Moved From K-1 process forums to USCIS service centers as the ombudsman is a liaison between the people and the USCIS service centers.

i just did that having that suspicion, even though my computer does regular automatic updates.

i still can't access either of those links.

could somebody maybe privately mail the form to me? is it downloadable at all?

that would be a big help, thanks!

i use safari and then tried it on firefox, both cases no luck. i also downloaded the newest version of acrobat reader, and i still can't open them.

the text i get with the pdf is:

"If this message is not eventually replaced by the proper contents of the document, your PDF viewer may not be able to display this type of document.

You can upgrade to the latest version of Adobe Reader for Windows®, Mac, or Linux® by visiting http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html."

just plain text on a pdf type file opening in a new window.

It is showing me the same message on the thing as when i try to download the form myself on their website "please wait blablabla...." i am desperate

And there's nothing wrong with my version of pdf, it is up to date, same with the elctronic form, my server is not allowing what does that mean? That i am a foreign so i can't go on there?

The worse part in this is that i am doing all of this by myself ...
