Transfer to Local Office

3 weeks ago I called USCIS and had a talk with Tier 2 Officer, who told me that my case is still at NBC, but today Tier 2 Officer said that my case was transfer to local field office on Jan 3.I told her about my conversation with other officer 3 weeks ago, but she said that the information she is providing is latest.

Whom should I believe? really confused and lost. I just took info pass appointment and going to local office on 11th.

Believe the second one. It seems as though they have to look into an additional menu or further into the case to see that it was transferred. The first ISO probably didn't bother to.

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

Believe the second one. It seems as though they have to look into an additional menu or further into the case to see that it was transferred. The first ISO probably didn't bother to.

Thank you. I know you been thorough a lot in the process. Do you think it will help going to Local office or have Cong or Senator office to enquire in to? I know its been only 106 days but I do not want my case to get lost somewhere.

I've heard of people getting approved after an Infopass, so that is a good option. :thumbs:

They make you wait until they get to it.

You can't really speculate on that because it varies by office.

Important point is that they do not update the status even your case move to local office, so not many people would know the actual location. NBC sent my file to local office on JAN 9 and still the status is same as before.

That's when they uploaded all of us online.

I still occasionally check even though I KNOW there's no point lol
