Disagreeing with him doesn't make you a racist.

Many excuses are used by racists to excuse their behaviour.

Show me when he was called a liar when he was speaking to the house, show me for all of his blunders, one person that asked to see his college transcripts, show me a reporter that interrupted him(twice) in one interview, show me when he spent this country into debt, bringing us into the recession that we are in right now, one Tea party member before 2009.

I don't even have to Google all that junk cause it's a fact. Everything he did was scrutinized by the opposition. Dan Rather even lied about his National Guard service record. Not really defending Bush so much as pointing out the many very vocal minorities gave him a lot worse than Obama gets, and it was not racism. I guess we are supposed to treat Obama differently becuse he has black blood in him or does in your world is Racism only one way.

I have no idea as I did not produce, look for, or offer any statistical data on race.

LOL - that blank got filled in by someone else

Some people just are not bright enough to understand that a statistical correlation does not speak to causation. You could tell him every way you could imagine, draw him all sorts of pictures to illustrate and yet, in the end, he would still not admit what social scientists have understood for a very long time. The common link is poverty and high unemployment. But trying to convince his type is pointless. As someone once said, "A man convinced against his will remains unconvinced still."

i don't get it.

Typical of what? "white people"? If the "N" word is offensive to black people why sing about it? Why use it among themselves in movies?

Racism: When one group prevents another group from using certain words because of their skin color

Giraffes, hippos, peacocks, and pigs dont jump up and down and howl and throw poop when their budgets get cut. Although animals have no specific color or race they do have behavioral characteristics. Moral: Act like the animal you want to be identified with or live with the label. This subject is closed from my side.

I don't know what you listen to. I don't care. I know that many black americans pretend offense to the same words they dance to and I know that's messed up. If that isn't you then you're welcome to remove yourself from that part of the discussion.

If you weren't so busy trying to put us down means this to me: I posted comments on inner city crime rates, votors, and the people they vote for down and you stepped right in and personally identified yourself as having been "put down". Identifying yourself with a topic or group that now you say has nothing to do with you could sure as hell make you look exactly like you now say you aren't. Why is posting a random county map of Mississippi with blue and red counties immediately considered "putting you down"? How the hell was I supposed to know what counties in Mississippi had all the "black people" anyway? But NO....You jumped at the chance to link "black people" and crime didnt you?

I think I may know why. It's because neither one of us has to look it up do we? Its just that you believe that you can say it and it's OK but you also believe that if I say it I'm a racist. That's also messed up. LOL

Let me explain to you some more facts of life sport. You can blame the fact that 13% of the population segment is underrepresented by having only 10% of the representatives until you collapse from exhaustion. The fact is - NO amount of gerrymandering could possibly compete for the fact that 13% of black men have lost their right to vote due to felony convictions and THAT and only THAT is why African-Americans are under-represented.

But we aren't allowed to talk about that either are we?

I bet even Marvin thinks this is funny

Now if this were Obama........I'd probably be burned at the stake

Racism at it's finest

When have I ever advocated the use of that word? I find it offensive and insulting if anyone of any color says it. It has no place in a decent society, just like any other racial slur. But if it means that much to you, you go right ahead and say it, in fact go and find a group of minorities and use it to them. Let me know how that works out for you. It's funny, you're the one saying racist things and then you try to justify it by saying since others say it, that makes it ok.

Here's the sad part, I am not arguing with you, there are problems within the black community that need immediately attention. I just find it perplexing that you tend to bring this up whenever someone talks about gun control or crime in a white neighborhood. The two don't even mix, but you're quick to bring it up every chance you get. Now if you want to talk about this like rational adults, start a thread and we can hash it out like gentlemen. Oh, I'm still waiting on my biology lesson, I can't remember Obama throwing pooh like that animal you tend to associate him with, so you have to do better than that.

For your second post, I don't find it funny at all, guess my sense of humor is different than yours. But what's sad is it's common knowledge that connotation is racist, and yet you still used it. I don't know whether to be mad, or feel sorry for you.

Nice videos, now try posting one where someone calls Bush a liar to his face. I've been looking for that in these videos, not a single person called him that to his face. And never in front of congress. That's the difference, every president gets the business, but you can't find a single video in which someone interrupted the president during his speech to the House. I listened to the video with people so booing, sounded more like upset people than a prominent person screaming at the top of their lungs directly at the president.

Also, I am not arguing that Bush didn't get the business when he was in office, he was mocked and made fun of, called names and disrespected. I am comparing the vile things that were done; Bush put us in a recession, where was the Tea Party? We couldn't get the WMD's, but no one said You lie when they couldn't find them. And that was a big deal. You talk about Bush's military records, show me the Military Record Movement, you know that group of Democrats that banded together to prove his records were false: http://birthers.org/

OH really (I) used that word? When? Where? I haven't even HEARD that word used in years (except among) the offended community nor did I say it's OK to say it. What I DID say is that a community who uses offensive words to refer to themselves is messed up.

Definition of messed up: Self-explanatory dude. Someone says that something is messed up, you agree that it is messed up, then go on to twist the words so that what that person said is messed up really means that it is OK.

That's even more messed up.

You would do well to go find a post of mine that says "black" or "black neighborhood". I can actually find several of yours. My posts say "blue voting areas" however blue voting does not fall among racial lines. Blue voting does however reflect the values of blue voters and the outcome of blue voting sure as hell speaks for itself doesnt it?

NOTE and before you get stirred up again: Blue isn't a skin color. Blue isn't a race.

Your biology lesson was completed. I will simplify for you. Animals are not classified by either race or color. Hope that's not too confusing to you.

So in summary feel free to save your sympathy for yourself. You appear to be brimming full of that.

You mean rap artists don't properly represent the entire African American community?!

Actually the use of the term race is used very often in ichthyology to identify fishes. There are parts of the world where it is very difficult to separate between species and subspecies, so the fish will often be known by genus name, species name (possibly subspecies to) and finally race name.

An example, Melanotaenia trifasciata Goyder River. With Goyder River being the race. It further defines the fish by its color pattern and often times even body shape from other fish of the same species. There are over 30 different races of this species, I've just mentioned the most well known one.

Just wanted to put to bed this idea that there is no race in nature, because there certainly is and a lot of it.

You can go back to your argument now

no it isn't and why do you think so? younger black males might refer to themselves as such, but it's their right to. it's okay to have a word that isn't ever appropriate for white people to use but okay for black people to use if they choose. i mean, we have a history we have to respect. that's just how it is..
