CSC STILL NO SIGN

I posted this in another thread today, but seems appropriate here as well.

I, like many others have been watching Igor's list in hopes of some sort of movement. Today, I noticed that 4 filers got NOA2's from CSC yesterday alone. Now, this could be a fluke, but that's as many as the last half of February combined. I'm hoping it's not just a fluke, and is the start of a push forward on fiance Visas at CSC

It certainly isn't bad news, but three of those posters had earlier RFEs and 1 is from October and may have expedited their petition. I wouldn't read too much into it, at least not yet. Hopefully the numbers stay high.

Also, just to vent, and apropos of nothing in this particular thread but a common occurrence in other threads on the topic... Nothing aggravates me more than reading advice from people who were approved much more quickly in years past about how we need to relax about the processing delays and take advantage of this time to "get to know our fiances" before they arrive. Grrr.

Anyone have any idea how the recent federal budget cuts may affect processing times? Don't think it can help...

The October one was an expedite (although it's sort of crazy that they had to "expedite" at 5 months) - check their post history, and they explain what they expedited for (financial hardship). But likewise, I hope we see a trend of more approvals coming through.

I noticed there aren't as many CSC people with RFEs in the pending queue as there are in VSC, but I'm not sure how RFEs go historically (are VSC more prone to RFE than CSC, for example?). I'd feel better even if I just saw a lot more folks at CSC getting RFEs, because at least that's activity.

Same here - in UK at nigth - another week and nothing - we're two weeks ahead of you - the waiting is so difficult. I wish we had married in July and gone the CR1 route. I know it's supposed to be slower than the K1 (which is laughably in place to stop people being apart so long).
