Interview was today, seemed like a fail but now?

Hi there,

I posted the following on a different forum but I'll paste it here for background info.

Today my wife and I had the I-485, marriage based interview. We were greeted by the officer and sent into the room. Sworn in. Then he asked for her passports and my id. He then asked for supporting documents so I handed him our tax return we just did, health insurance application, copies of health insurance card, copies of credit card (same number), pictures from our civil marriage ceremony, first page of bank statement. I had a LOAD of more pictures (at least 20 pages), i also had birth certificates, and invitation cards we received with both of our names. He did not ask for, nor did he want that stuff.

He seemed very picky about a lease statement which we do not have as we live with my parents in their house so there is no actual lease. We just chip in to utilities and stuff and he complained that we should of had a statement from them. When i was preparing documents the notice said supporting evidence MAY be lease, bank statements and such, it wasnt listed as a requirement. I explained to him we live with them and chip in.

The only question he asked me, is if im in school. (I'm the us citizen in this), she's an overstay.

He asked my wife some basic questions which she answered correctly and only asked me one. He was ignorant about where we met, how she lets me "support" her and etc.

Then he started going through the application and when he got to the questions about terrorism etc, he asked her if she plans to practice polygamy, offcourse she said no, but then he said if she knows what it means, she forgot so she said she doesnt remember, he then became even more ignorant and asked if shes going to answer no to every question he asked, she said no. He said well there is no point in asking them then, and he marked off everything else as no (it was no either way)

From this experience we are worried that she got denied. He removed the i-94 from her passport and we did not get any papers or anything to take with us. He then told us we will be receiving a letter from him and that was it. All of this lasted MAYBE 10 minutes and we were probably one of the first people there. (7:30am appointment)

What do you guys think?

How long does it usually take to receive a decision? or for it to show up online on the case status?

Fast forward to about 2 hours later I Check the status of the i485 and it said On March 6, 2013, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283

It is now 533pm and I checked again and now it says

On March 6, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

During this step the formal decision (approved/denied) is written and the decision notice is mailed and/or emailed to the applicant/petitioner. You can use our current processing time to gauge when you can expect to receive a final decision.

The i130 now says On March 6, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice

What does this all mean exactly?

Is it approved or not?
