Expedited EAD, how to contact congress person.

My wife who has applied for EAD got a job offer starting on April 1st. We don't expect to receive the EAD until April 12.

After reading it seems the best thing to do is contact congress person. Do I contact my local congress person? How do I go about contacting he or she and what should I say/write?

You can call USCIS and put in an expedite request. They will probably ask for evidence to prove that she has a job, which in this case, would be a job offer letter from her employer. I think you should exhaust that option before talking to your congressman.
