Hi,

It took a week to finally see the Fee Status has moved from "In Process" to "Paid" even though the money left my account after two days but today we have been able to finally overnight our IV and AOS packets to the NVC. Now the wait for Case Complete and an interview date. Anyone in the same boat as us? Would love to chat?

Andrea

I'm in almost the same boat! We sent off our IV and AOS packages at the end of last week (both fees are PAID)so just wait, wait, waiting. Really hoping for a May interview (Our first wedding anniversary is June 2nd so hoping and praying we'll be together by then) I've got my medical a week on Friday (22nd March) and just waiting as patiently as I can for case complete and interview! :)

Hi Cat,

Great to meet you! Our stuff got to the NVC on Friday so we really are close! I went for my medical yesterday and all went well I think (I posted my experience in the Knightsbridge Medical thread). I was praying for a miracle April interview, our wedding anniversary is on 18th May and we want to have a big party with our friends and family. I noticed the latest dates they are handing out are for 24th April so by the time we get Case Complete, I'm sure the next available interview date will have moved to May. How has this process been for you? I've hated being away from my OH, it really has felt like an eternity!

Awesome, I think our IV package arrived there on Friday but I don't think our AOS will have got there until today (we had to wait for transcripts so it was mailed on Saturday) Awesome, I'll definitely check out your medical post - I'm excited to get something else ticked off!

How soon do you think we'll get a case complete? And do you know how soon after case complete we would get a London interview?

Ugh it's been awful! It's so hard being away and not just being able to see your partner! I've got a few friends who do 'long distance' between cities here in Scotland and I'm like that would be a dream right now! Buuut I'm looking forward to the excitment of moving to US to be with hubby! It's been such a long year - I really like that things are starting to move now and we are closer to the end! Where are you from?

I totally agree! It's not just the distance - it's the time zones that really get to you after a while. I'm still working US hours so it's not too bad and with the clocks changing last weekend it has made a bit of a difference, it's still hard though. We facetime at least once a week and talk online every day, he tries to visit once a month but the time flies by when he's here and drags when he's not!

I've read a lot around how quickly cases complete and my estimate for the average is about ten days to two weeks. I'm going to start my daily calling again Thursday maybe, see what I can find out :)

I'm in Milton Keynes and heading for Texas, how about you? Shall we PM?

Our IV bill finally appeared on Friday, and was paid on Monday, just waiting for it to change to paid on the payment portal now and my husband has our IV package ready to send. They have accepted our AOS package, so we are getting closer to the end of this process...I would so so love an interview in May! I'm heading from Lancashire to Texas, my husband lives near Dallas, I cannot wait to be there now :-)

Good luck to you both, snowf1ake and Cat
