Yes I believe miracles do happen. Thanks for the input!

As someone who is 10 days away from 8 months after NOA1 with the CSC not having even looked at the petition, I would say that believing in miracles is a great thing and also that you will need one if you are to get married by June. We applied in July 2012 and are hoping to get married the coming August and things are not looking like they are going in our favor at the moment.

Yes I can :) Seattle will be their main port for I think 3 months if he ever goes back.

I was married to crew for 8 years, based on your timeline... I say have him do "one last contract" (famous last words I know) and bank the money... That way you can visit him in port a few times... When he signs off, see if he can apply for the b2 instead of signing off c1d (some cruise lines will let them do that ) or sign him off in Canada on b2 then you can get a visit in before he goes to process.

For realities sake, I would get the June wedding out of ur head or you are setting yourself up for disappointment IMO... Yes miracles do happen, but so does disappointment... Plan for the worst and hope for the best. You waited 20 years to find each other again, another 6 months is a blip on the radar!

10/14/2000 - Met Aboard a Cruise ship

06/14/2003 - Married Savona Italy

It sucks to be waiting around when all we want to do is be together just like everybody else. If the process is taking longer than 6 months is it advisable to have my fiance sign another contract, he's a seafarer and their next route will be U.S.

I have to ask, which cruise line is he on? My wife and I met working on Holland America Line...
