Sure there is! There is one on Hercules drive in Colchester at exit 16 on I-89. Just a few minutes from our house. We are members and shop there every week. Right next to Wendell's Furniture, Alla's favorite furniture store.

Even full time regular employees will have hours cut. I did labour control and scheduling at my old job in Canada, and trust me, when minimum wage went up over $10 per hour, hours were cut back for everyone. People wound up making less money.

BS argument! If a business has a good product or service they will continue to have customers. The slight increase in prices will be more than offset overall throughout the economy by workers having more income to spend. If a business needs x number of employees to efficiently serve the customers that will be the same regardless of what that minimum wage paid is. For businesses that compete it will affect all that were paying minimum wage equally. For those businesses that already paid a living wage above the minimum they might see a business volume increase as they would not have to raise any of their prices. This would come at the expense of those irresponsible employers who pay only the minimum. If you are not lying the answer must be that you worked for such an employer where you lost out in competition on price when your minimum wage workers got a raise and the decent employers you competed with did not have to raise their wages or prices since they already paid better.
