No NOA-1

Hi all

I sent off our I-130 on February 19th and have yet to receive a NOA-1 by email or in mail. Our parcel was sent via UPS with tracking saying it was in the Chicago mail room on February 20th.

We have a foreign address, so we were not expecting the NOA-1 by mail for awhile, but should we be concerned by the lack of email confirmation? If so, is there anyone we can contact?

We used a USPS money order so can not readily check to see if payment had been deducted.

Give it few more days and see. even though USCIS already took out the notice from website about delay in receiving receipts alert, there may still be some glitches there.

down the road depending on what happens, you may need to contact USCIS and ask.

Thanks for the advice! Will wait a week or so more and hopefully something comes through. I was unaware of the receipt alert, when was that?

earlier this year they posted a notice (IN RED) on their website alerting customers that it is taking them about a month to send out receipt alerts and not to worry ( i guess the real message was "DON'T CALL US") until 30 days or so is passed.
