You know my case hasn't been received either. I called the USCIS, spoke to a tier 2 rep which she was very rude and said we sent all our cases once they're aprroved. We don't have any other information. :(

So they say.. It's the same date the status on the website says and the same date on the NOA2. So I don't know if they are just saying that or if it really left. I just hope that the NVC finds it soon.

sounds like you got a crappy ISO.

Try again - ask them exactly where the casefile is - local office still, still at adjudicator's desk, pegged for supervisor review, etc.

But - don't get off the phone until they have actually searched. It very well may be - that it's still at the local office and the local office doesn't send off casefiles same week of adjudication.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Same boat as all of you. I got my congressman involved and got a e-ticket opened after talking to a tier-2. Apparently the file was sent to the Consulate rather than the NVC in my case. But still, my file is currently not in NVC's hand. Once I get my Case number, I'm gonna try for an expedite due to USCIS error. I find out the e-ticket answer by this Friday and the congressman said that he's owed an answer by next week. Put the pressure on the USCIS.

Just a suggestion. Maybe there should be sticky to this thread about USCIS losing track of the cases and what to do if that happens. You guys are getting delayed unnecessarily at someone else's mistake. I am sure the stuff you're doing will come in handy for lot of other folks who are going through this BS.

Wish all of you the best and speedy NVC process.

They have it. NVC is as bad as USCIS at updating and their phone operators are the same ones. You will get a letter from them when they forward it to the consulate. Trying to get any further information usually results in this frustration and is of ZERO value. When you receive your KEV number you can schedule a medical appointment but in Kiev those are done virtually on a walk in basis so it is sort of like a dog chasing a car...what will he do with it if he catches it?

You cannot schedule an interview until the consulate actually receives the case from NVC and enters it in their system, usually 2-3 weeks after you get your letter from NVC. Plenty of time to schedule a medical exam. Most Kiev applicants schedule the exam for the day before the interview, especially if they have to travel to Kiev.

VERMONT! I Reject Your Reality...and Substitute My Own!
