Hello,

I've check uscis processing times and at the CSC I can't seem to see a timeframe of approvals for " parent of USC" I only see green card holders and children of USC.

Does anyone have a current wait time for I-130 relative.

I have not filed yet but am filing soon.

And one more question, I do not meet income requirements, so my father in law is submiting a I-864, do I need to also submit the I-864 even though I dont qualify?

Thanks!

I got approved after 6 months in CSC. If you do not meet the income requirement, your father in law can be a co sponsor. He will need to fill out I-864A and you'll fill out the I-864.

I file my I130 My mom last year Dec 12, 2012 and I got approved on march 1,2013. It was pretty quick but the NVC processing time will probably take a few months maybe.

The wait time for the case # to become available at NVC based on other member's timeline here is around 20-30 days. Also depending how quick you send the docs they need. May take up to a month until case has been completed.

PLEASE DISREGARD MY PREVIOUS POST

I got approved after 6 months in CSC. If you do not meet the income requirement, your father in law can co sponsor. And as for the forms, Im not sure if he will fill out the I-864 or I-864A I am assuming that your father in law does not live with you. I hope anyone could clarify this,

Thanks so much for the info! Do you know about how long till a visa comes available after approval?

Give it like couple more months. From the NVC case # waiting time, until case is completed to the medical exam and Interview.
