You're lucky, I am still waiting for my new card. I did receive a receipt on Thursday saying that I should receive my new card within two weeks. It actually also stated that I am still only authorized for work with DHS authorization (so I guess that won't be changed until we have our Green Cards), but what was important to me was that my name got changed from my maiden to my married name in order to minimized problems with the DMV and employers/E-Verify.

I actually got my new card in the mail yesterday! Old "For Work With DHS Authorization Only", but new name. I'm happy.

Hi All, I'm new to this group. I also filed for AOS/EAD/AP in March 2013. I am very pleased to announce that I finally got my EAD and AP approval today and I will be anxiously awaiting the card in the mail in about 10 days. Im definitely to get out there and start working!

Hello and welcome to the Marchies group! Congrats on your EAD approval - it does feel great to finally send out the first applications after such a long wait.

EAD/AP card received today! So happy, now we'll tackle the DMV next!

Btw, should we go to social security and get a new card without the employment restriction on it?

Congrats...on receiving your cards..I am a little late

Not sure what is happening with mine but I receive this update yesterday, they approved my K2 children EAD on the 28 June 2013 but not mine, which I find strange..

Did you change addresses? That is what this notice would imply to me.

Oftentimes (not always) this also means that they are looking at your file and that you should get your approval pretty soon.

Wow, congratulations! You did not have an interview, did you? I know for the Interview waiver cases, they mostly seem to be working on November/December 2012 now, so you got really lucky!

Hi March Filers,

I received a letter from USCIS on the 2nd August 2013, stating that my case has been selected for a interview waiver, but could be another 6 months before it will be processed.

Has anyone else from March filers received this letter...

Let me know

Thanks

Congrats to all who had interviews approved and GC on its ways....

Hey, I also received the exact same letter also dated August 2nd. I thought it was because I had tried to put in a service request two weeks ago since it had been more than 60 days since they received my response to the RFE but perhaps they are sending out blanket letters to try and stop people from calling trying to put in service requests.

When I called USCIS two weeks ago I was told that the processing time for my local office, Fort Smith Arkansas was currently processing January 2nd 2013 so I should wait until the online processing time for this office is past my NOA1 date. He said this applied regardless of whether or not I had an interview. I am a bit confused because I thought the non interview cases were sent to the NVC for processing, not the local offices.
