Hello March AOS fillers smile.png.

I applied for AOS on March 5th.

Had biometrics on April 1st.

Got EAD on may 10th.

Wondering why I didn`t get yet any update about the interview for AOS.

Are there applicants with the same AOS timeline which were scheduled or went for the interview by now?

I know about at least one other AOS applicant adjusting from a K1 who has a smilar timeline and whose online status changed to "Testing/Interview" in the end of April (she has her interview in early June). Similarly, all of the early March filers on here adjusting from tourist/student/work visas have received their interview letters or had their interview already. So I am starting to assume that we might be the "lucky" ones who do not get an interview and are staying at the NBC.

I called USCIS and asked if there is any update on my case as I had biometrics 2 months ago. They said that the processing for I485 is somewhere in Sept 2012. Some cases are not scheduled for interview as I read here but it takes longer to be approved. Anyways..I am confused. We are so used to wait with all this K1 process so I suppose there is nothing else but wait...

Yes - I believe the NBC is currently working on August 2012 filers. Still a long way to go for us, if we really do not get an interview. Remember, "Patience Is A Virtue"!

You're still within the normal processing times for EAD/AP, so I would not worry. I bet it'll come soon!

Whoot, congratulations on the EAD approval! You will likely receive an AP/EAD combo card, even though your AP has not been updated yet. My AP is still on "Case Not Found" in their online system, but I received my combo card two weeks ago.

Did you get text message of approval or did you see it on the USICS website?

I got both texts and emails. Plus, the USCIS website was updated. Actually, I got 3 texts of the same for the EAD and nothing for AP. Just a fluke of some sort though. The emails and case status told me what I needed to know.
