Any news or updates to share? Has anyone received a letter that their case is going to be transferred to CSC? I'm just wondering how soon we would be notifiied of a case transfer, if that were to happen.

As of August 1, 2012, NBC stopped transferring cases to CSC. As of right now, your case will either be sent to your local field office where you will have an interview - you will get a letter with your interview date and time usually about a month or so after your biometrics is done OR.... it will stay at NBC to be processed without an interview in which case you will hear nothing for a very long time.

Yeah, I think we are all waiting impatiently for our authorization to work and (for those of us who did not have a DL in their homecountries) to drive! I want to be able to spend hours at Wal-Mart and Hobby Lobby without having to ask my husband or his family to take me to places and being stuck there with me, because they have to take me back home!

Has your husband done Driver's Ed? I have a couple of weeks ago (luckily I was allowed to do that even though I have to wait for my EAD to get my Learner's Permit), and it was a lot of fun. I am looking forward to finally being more independent.

Nope, nothing yet in the mail. It seems like they are starting to approve people with early March NOA's though. There are two girls from the other March Filers Thread (those who are adjusting from tourist/student/work visas) who had similar NOA dates as me (March 12/13) and who got approved.

Good day, VJ members! I also have filed our paperworks in March. My biometrics appointment was on April 16, which was a month after they received our documents. Then we got a letter from the field office that our interview is on June 7. As of today, no update yet on EAD. I check everyday my case status online and I have observed that the day when they update the information online (via case status) is the same day when they mail the letter to the applicant and when they sent you an email. To those who are having difficulties in accessing their case status online, aren't you getting email notifications?

Another mid-March filer! We are also anxiously waiting for EAD and AP. Did the walk-in biometrics on 4-16 without a problem. I'm glad people on here told us about being able to do that!

Wow! We had our biometrics the same day! Hopefully our awaited documents are received anytime soon.

I don't think it will slow down your application process, nor speed it up. I have read somewhere that it will not affect the normal timeframe. It may be wrong though. Good luck to us!!

No, I have not received anything via e-mail. You have to sign up for the e-mail notifications via the USCIS website... and since I cannot access my case status, I obviously cannot sign up for case updates either. Bummer!

Thanks for welcoming me! That is weird that you are unable to register online for your case status. What does it say when you attempt to sign up?

Well, when I type in my number, it just says "Case not found". When signing in and trying to add my (non-existant) case to my portfolio, it says:

"Validation Error(s)

You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:

• Customer Portfolio Insert Failed
• Attempting to add a case that does not exist. Check the application receipt number."

And when you try to inquire about your case by phone, all you'll hear is an automated voice saying you have to check your case status online!

The arrow up just means that you like my post, or that you want to give it a good reputation. Nothing wrong with that!

Oh, that is sad. Hope you will be able to talk to a live person on the phone to help you how to fix it. So the same error message appears when you use any of your case numbers? I have checked your signature and saw that you filed 3 forms, meaning you have three case numbers. Right?

Ok, now I know what the arrow up means. So much about being a newbie. Lol!! Thanks for explaining.

By the way, I was in Germany for a month during spring of 2011 (and went to other countries, too in Europe). Such a beautiful country!
