I thought that, because of the letter, we shouldnt put in service requests.

I don't know - it doesn't explicitly say on the letter that you are not allowed to inquire, does it? (I am at work right now and don't have it in front of me) Doesn't hurt to try though to put in a Service request or get the congressman involved to speed up things a little... or rather make them less slow rolleyes.gif

Go Galla! And let us know how it went. My local office is working on March 2, 2013 cases right now, so I will try to put in a Service Request as soon as they are beyond my NOA date (March 12) despite that Interview Waiver letter.

I put in a service request moments ago. Hopefully this will do the trick. I hate not knowing- do they need more info, did we forget to put something in the package ( but we checked it like zillion times, still wouldnt be surprised if they lost something..)..

so how does this work with service request? The agent told me that I will get a notice in the mail within 30 days.

Yeah, I think we are all waiting impatiently for our authorization to work and (for those of us who did not have a DL in their homecountries) to drive! I want to be able to spend hours at Wal-Mart and Hobby Lobby without having to ask my husband or his family to take me to places and being stuck there with me, because they have to take me back home! smile.png

Has your husband done Driver's Ed? I have a couple of weeks ago (luckily I was allowed to do that even though I have to wait for my EAD to get my Learner's Permit), and it was a lot of fun. I am looking forward to finally being more independent.

Hello everyone. Our AOS paperwork was received March 11, 2013. We received EAD and AP about 2 months later... We waited.....On Sept. 13, 2013 we received a letter from Robert M. Cowen, Center Director for the USCIS NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER, This letter stated that our case is pending and there has been a delay in processing due to" workload factors not related to your case"

The anticipated delay is estimated to be as long as 6 months from the date of the letter. As of Nov 4 2013 (today) I checked processing times and it shows that filing dates of July 2013 are being processed,, Would it wise to call them?

Hello fellow OKC-filer! We have a similar timeline - filed in early March, got our EAD/AP in mid-May, and got the interview Waiver letter in early September. My Green Card just got approved two days ago, so maybe yours will follow soon.

I am not quite sure where you are getting the processing times from - OKC is currently working on March 2, 2013 applications, so you won't be able to put in a Service Request until your NOA date is beyond the current USCIS processing date. So calling right now does not make any sense. They would not do anything.
