Do I need to fil I-485A form

http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-485supainstr.pdf: who does not need to use supplement..., 1 category C. I believe you fall under this category, right? Specially if you have a visa (so you are not illegal in the US).

Question is: do you have to file I-130 with AOS?

You would only use an I-485A if you were filing for a 245(i) adjustment, and had an immigrant petition (or labour certification) either pending or approved on or before 30th April 2001.

Yeah I have F1 Visa now. Yeah, my husband filled I-130 for me to change my status.

Yeah, I saw that section. But it is K1, K3 visa. I am in the United now, and I am in my F1 visa.

You shouldn't, that's pretty much how we did it for my wife's AOS and it sailed through.
