Iam still waiting for my NOA 2. NOA 1 came on Jan 23-2013 and my CaseStatus on the website its not showing my case.. my receipt # start with MSC

It can take up to 45 days from your NOA1 date. There used to be a disclaimer telling you that, but it's not up right now for some reason or another.

So just give it until the end of the week and if it's still not up, try calling USCIS.

03/23/2022: Application for passport submitted at USPS facility under standard processing.

04/04/2022: Status changed to “The U.S. Department of State has received your application for your passport book on 04/04/2022. We're now reviewing your application and supporting documents...Your application locator number is 51*******.”

04/04/2022: Check for passport cashed.

05/03/2022: Status changed to "The U.S. Department of State approved your application for your passport book. We're now printing your passport book and preparing to give it to you. You should receive your passport book on or around 05/09/2022."

05/05/2022: Passport Received.

05/09/2022: SSA Citizenship Status Updated.

05/25/2022: Naturalization Certificate received in mail.

Yes and you will probably have another 5-6 months before you get your noa2.

That the web page doesn't show your case doesnt mean anything, that page has its ups and downs.

Noa 2 March 2nd

NVC case numbers March 22nd
My sons AOS and IV bill paid March 23rd (status in progress)
My sons AOS and IV bill shows as paid March 26
My IV bill paid March 26
Both packages sent on March 26
My IV bill shows as paid on March 27th
CC on both cases March 30

Current record holder of fastest through the NVC :D

Medical exam in Stockholm April 13th
Interview on May 16th !!!
POE Anchorage July 12th!! 2012

July 2015 n-400 in the mail

September 2015, interview

October 23rd 2015, Oath ceremony!!!!!​​

There are multiple posts on the same subject, but because you're new, I'll help ya out.

MSC numbers can take a long time to get into the system. Mine took 2 months, and others took longer. Do NOT worry if you cannot see your case status online. It's common and it's okay. NOA2 can take from a month (rare) to 8+ months so be prepared to wait and have some patience. It will come when it comes. There is nothing you can really do to speed up the process except make a service request when your case is past the normal processing range (about 6 months+). Until then gather up the items you need for the NVC stage and read the guides on what to do next. Then relax, keep busy, and try not to obsess. Easier said than done, I know!

MSC means your case is at NBC which is somewhat speedy then other centers. I too have my case at NBC and waiting. Mumbai or Delhi?

06/25/2013 - AOS Accepted
07/03/2013 - IV accepted

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Hi may somebody help me find my local office, I live in Detroit, and i sent my I-130 to Chicago lockbox on sep 6 2012 I received this E-mail "Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS California Service Center for processing" and since that I didn't receive anything from them may somebody help me what should I do? do I have to call or just wait. I appreciate it
