Any Advice?

Has anyone ever filed for I-130 for their parent, even though their biological parents weren't married? Therefor there is no marriage certificate to submit.

My husband's parents were never married and his biological mom hasn't been in the picture since he was 6 months. Hasn't had any contact with her since.

We are applying for his father and will submit a copy of my husband's birth certificate, pictures with his dad, a sworn letter testifying to the father's paternity, and a baptismal certificate.

Will this suffice?

Thank you for any input.

We will also submit a letter stating that my husband was raised primarily by his father and great-grandmother.
