Our interview is tomorrow at Orlando, FL at 1pm. Here is what we have along with a complete copy of our K-1 packet and AOS packet.

NOA Interview Sheet

Certified Copy of Marriage and copy

Most Recent bank statement showing our names

Mortgage showing our names on it

2 most recent paycheck stubs copies

USC Birth cert plus copy

His Birth cert plus copy

We are also bringing our passports and immigration travel documents as well at his EAD. I can't provide a letter from my boss as I am the boss. LOL. I would be signing my own letter. I provided a letter with my AOS application stating why I wasn't providing a letter with the application and I never got a RFE.

Are we good? I am crossing my fingers. Wish us luck! The interview is two months to the day my mother passed so I know she watching over us and will smooth the way.

REMOVING CONDITIONS

11th Aug 2008 - Mailed I-751 to CSC.

12th Aug 2008 - Application received

14th Aug 2008 - Cheque cashed

18th Aug 2008 - Received NOA-dated the 12th

26th Aug 2008 - Received Biometrics letter

4th Sept 2008 - Biometrics-Detroit-Complete-'Touched'

5th Sept 2008 - 'Touched'

1st Dec 2008 - APPROVED-Card production ordered -112 days

8th Dec 2008 - USCIS mailed approval notice.

8th Dec 2008 - Received my 10 year Greencard in the mail. took 2 days.

Although I have the above date for approval my card actualy states the

2nd December..

04 Feb 05 - VISA APPROVED!!!

08 Feb 05 - Proud owner of IR-1 Visa

09 Jun 05 - Arrived in the USA

24 April 09 - US Citizen

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

Actually that is a great question. Unfortunately, he doesn't have health insurance because everyone we found wanted a SSN. Also I need to get life insurance now that I have a house and a dependent. My mom had life insurance and I always blew it off, thinking I wouldn't care about the money. It was surprising how much we really needed it. My bank is offering a policy so I am thinking of going in and getting policies on both of us.

We went to our interview and we are approved contingent on we provide a link from us to our PO Box where we receive our mail and showing that our current address is on file with the Post Office. She took his I-94 and let him keep his EAD until she receives that document. She also wanted to see a credit card statement showing that we have the same account number. Unfortunately I don't have any bills so this means I have to go charge something, get the bill, pay it off and copy the bill and send it in. Argh. It is just frustrating.
