Not yet. After AP, they will determine if you're approved or not.

I agree, sadly you can't know for sure if you were approved or not until they get back to you.

Hopefully you get an approval soon, wishing you the best.

Then if that's the case, they should given me a 221g.

Did they keep your passport? I'm not sure what a "Mandatory AP" (or why it's mandatory) is but if you didn't receive a 221g, maybe and hopefully that's good news for you!

You know you are approved when they grant your visa. Keeping or returning passport is not a sign for approval/denial.

When do you finally get to relax in this process? After POE? Or not even then.

NOA1: July 18th, 2012

Touched: July 23rd, 2012

No RFE! So Happy :)

NOA2: Jan 25th, 2013 (191 days)

Interview : 15th March 2013 APPROVED

Visa in Hand: 22nd March 2013

Generally one can be relaxed after POE. I even heard, someone was denied entry at POE with their immigration package ( IR-5 ).

For my case, I would be more relaxed when I become USC.

Okay i understand that. So what sign is a 221g?.

221g means: They still have questions for your case, and needs more docs to review before making the final decision ( approval/denial ).

I received a same white sheet few months back, which states that your case is under Mandatory AP (Administrative Processing). AP means 221G only.

Some cases takes 4 weeks and some 4-6 months in India (depends case by case).

If your case is Genuine, you will definitely receive your passport with VISA Stamp but i can't commit the timeline... infact no one can in 221G

God bless and i wish your case is approved not UNDER AP.... You can also call DOS and confirm your case status...
