Hi everyone:

I called NVC today, they have recieved my case on 02/18/13, my NOA2 02/06/13. The op. said allow 20 business days from date recieved for them to enter in the system. Still no case # yet. Is it true or do I keep calling everyday??? Anyone experiencing same issue? :wacko:

11-16-12: Sent I-130 for Dad.
11-19-12: Priority date/rec'd date.
02-06-13: Case approved, NOA2.
02-19-13: NVC received case.
03-08-13: Case # assigned--HCM2013******.
03-09-13: Paid AOS Fee $88.00.
03-09-13: Emailed DS-3032 from Beneficiary's email address.
03-13-13: AOS Fee showed as PAID & sent AOS package certified mail.
03-18-13: AOS package delivered @ 10:50 A.M.
03-18-13: DS-3032 accepted.
03-20-13: IV Bill Invoice.
03-21-13: Paid IV Fee $230.00.
03-23-13: IV Fee showed as PAID.
04-23-13: Sent IV package certified mail.
04-26-13: IV package delivered @ 11:13 A.M.

05-08-13: Case completed @ NVC per telephone call.

05-15-15: Case completed per email from NVC.

06-07-13: Rec'd email from NVC RE: interview date. (letter dated 06-05-13).

07-18-13: Interview date-- PASSED.

Yes it does take about 20 business days. It could be less or more than that. I suggest you call NVC everyday. Before you know it, you will get it. At NVC, you have to always call them to get information on your case whether it be about your DS-3032, AOS and/or IV Packets. Best of luck :)

It's usually take 2 weeks for them to response but sometimes they could be busy especially first two weeks of the months they are busy to sending interview letter but if not overload you could hear response a week later

It depends on how busy they are. Responding back with an email might actually take longer. The best would be to call them everyday. I hated calling them b/c for a good two weeks, I had to hear the same thing "No we haven't put it in the system yet. It will take 15-20 business days". Argh lol so annoying. But you're getting closer and you will get it soon. My case is complete so no more calling them. If you need help with anything, you can message me.

Yes, if you call them and ask. They'll let you know if the case has arrived at NVC or not. If the case has arrived at NVC, they'll tell you when.

I've read several people's case were misplaced b/w USCIS and NVC. You may want to talk to Tier 2 at USCIS to open service request and also contact congressman. At minimum, your case should have reached NVC by now even if case # is not assigned.
