I paid the AOS fee last Tuesday night. They took the money from my account last Thursday. I checked the website and the payment is still marked "in progress." What gives? When can I email the AOS packet?

How can you make payment for AOS without sending your packet at the same time?

i have never heard of that i myself last month i sent all my document including my AOS and Biometric fee which was 1070 usd right now i have an appointment this month for my biometric there is no way you can pay for your AOS without sending you AOS form along with the payment

sorry - AOS in this context is 'Affadavit Of Support', form I-864, submitted into NVC. In the context that YOU understand, it means 'Adjustment of Status'.

Not the same thing.

If the status is shown as "in Progress" you can print the coversheet and send your AOS packet. I tried it for my IV packet and it worked just fine and I called and confirmed with an operater.

Try to print the coversheet n send your package. DO NOT wait until it shows "paid" because it take at least 5 days .

Thanks Aladlhassan, I just did that! The person at NVC I talked to confirmed it was ok to email it anyway. He also said I was the second person to call in the last 10 minutes with the same issue. He suspects NVC was a little slow processing payments but said I can email the AOS packet anyway, as you recommended. Hopefully they process the payment and the AOS packet soon!
