Changing the Address of Where We Plan to Live

Hi. I'm the petitioner and we're almost finished with my wife's spousal visa case (CR-1). She's Vietnamese and her interview in HCM is in a few weeks. We're living in Vietnam and my permanent address is in the U.S. When we mailed in our AOS packet, I listed the address where we plan to live in California, and I had a friend who lives there do a sworn affidavit attesting to the fact that we'd be living at his place upon our arrival in the U.S. (I know this affidavit isn't required, but some people recommended that I include it.) We're now considering living in a different state upon arrival. My question is: Is changing our address through the embassy and USCIS enough, or should we send in another affidavit as well? I don't know if sending one before and then NOT sending one in (if we change our address) will present a problem. Thanks.
