Hi,

Long time lurker first time poster.

My wife came here on K1 Visa and we got married. We applied for her I485 AOS, It's been a month since her biometrics and we didn't receive anything. We happened to receive her AP yesterday and thought we'd check on her status online. Apparently we have an interview TOMORROW at USCIS. The problem is that we never received any paper saying so. Maybe it got lost in mail? Well that's not important anymore. The important part is that we have the interview tomorrow. We plan on going. I called USCIS earlier this morning, and a higher level of service rep told me that it is OK to go with out the notice, he gave us the time and address of the interview also based on our receipt number.

My question to the fellow experienced VJers are:

What exactly should I bring? Maybe some picture of our time here (not long, only 3 months), we don't have rent or bills together since I am currently living on a property owned by my parents and we aren't paying rent or anything... We are in the process of buying a house, so maybe bring the house purchase contract? What about joint bank account statement? Do we need that?

Is there anything else I need to watch/prepare for? I think for Marriage based AOS, I need to go with her, and go in with her, is that correct?

All this is just happening too fast and I am not well prep'ed for =(.

Any advice would be appreciated.

THanks!

Bring tons of wedding pictures, marriage license anything to show that it is a bonafide marriage. Joint bank statments would help.

I don't have BC =( I am a naturalized Citizen so I only have my naturalization certificate. That should suffice I assume?

THanks!
