Walmart fails to provide a livable wage and decent healthcare benefits, costing U.S. taxpayers an annual average of $1.02 billion in healthcare costs. This direct public subsidy is being given to offset the failures of an international corporate giant who shouldn’t be shifting part of its labor costs onto the American taxpayers.

I don't think anyone seriously thinks wal*mart should run the Government. It was just pointing out how the Government frigs up everything they touch, and many want to give them more authority over our lives. Insane.

I worked Saturday and several 10 hour days because of wal*mart and Sams and their demand for our product. They sustain over 100 jobs here. we all buy stuff in the local community .

Don't be mad because Wal*Mart figured out how to do it more effectively and cheaper than anybody else. Sam Walton started out Mom and Pop also, he was jsut better at what he did. What do you suggest we ban Wal*mart because they are successful.

If you don't like Wal*mart don't shop there. If you don't want to work for them, work somewhere else. Surely if they are so bad to work for , there is someone else competing for a good worker, that will pay better.

Did you know that wal*mart/Sams is the world leader in making manufactures that do business with them implement environmentally sustainable processes. Did you know that Wal*Mart audits it's manufactures to ensure they are following safety and health standards.

I am a big fan of Wal*Marts right to practice free enterprise. Now do I prefer to shop there.. No. Simply because it's to big to go in a grab just one or two items. The items are usually, of lower quality, and they have 20 checkout lanes with 2 open which always makes me ill.
