Congratulations! Alf Mabrook :)

Your approved I-130 will be forwarded to the NVC, and they should be in contact with you very soon :) If you do not hear from them within 3 weeks, I recommend calling them to make sure that they received your case.

Congrats again :) and good luck!

allah yebarek feeky ,

will NVC contact me direct or through the americvan embassay in cairo?

thx and good luck to u

From my experience with the NVC, I emailed them about two weeks after our I-130 was approved (using our USCIS case number), and then followed up with a phone call a couple of days later. When I called, they informed me that they "just" received my case. A couple of days later, they emailed me the DS-3032 (the choice of agent for my husband to complete) and the i-864 invoice.

You will not need to contact them through the Embassy. You can always call the NVC directly (best times for me were middle of the week, in the morning) or email them (although they typically respond within a 2-week period).

In the meantime, I completely agree with together4never13. You should check out LingChe NVC ShortCuts (http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/LingChe_NVC_ShortCut), and start preparing all the documents needed for the i-864 (done by your wife and sponsors) and the visa application (civil documents from you).

Good luck!
