Honeymoon... Is Hawaii ok?

Hi,

I know that once I enter the US on the K-1 I am not supposed to travel outside of the country without AP. We are getting married in Colorado and would like to honeymoon in Hawaii. Does anyone see any problems with this? Has anyone done something similar? No immigration to pass through in Hawaii (it is a domestic flight) so we aren't technically leaving the country. It is also very unlikely that the plane would be re-routed to anywhere outside the States.

Any advice/help would be appreciated .... we don't want to break any rules here! :)

Lets see you cannot travel out side of the country, Hawaii is a state and is inside the country, and is A-OK as a honeymoon destination. You can also vacation in the territories like US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Guam.

The only CONCERN* WARNING!!

Make sure it's a direct flight, or if there's a CONNECTION it's US based not through Canada or any 3rd Countries. Congrats on your honeymoon

Knowing my luck we'd be on our way back from Hawaii and we'd have to divert to Canada or Mexico for some crazy reason...

11-03 11-07 11-11 and 11-13 EAD touched.

11-15 Day 123 (Day 68 since the RFE) EAD approved 11-14 email! AP still waiting.

11-16 10 AM Aos approved, 2 weeks to the green card we hope!

11-16 2PM EAD card in the mail.

11-17 Email "Welcome letter"

11-20 Welcome letter in Mail

11-27 Another "Welcome" email dated 11-27, changed from 11-17

11-29-06 GC in Mail, Were done for 1.75 years!
