Good day to all....

Hello everyone!!!

I am Markie...

I am newly married...

I am awaiting the release of my marriage certificate from the local civil registrar, which after then I will have it authenticated in the National Statistics Office here in the Philippines....

I will be sending my marriage certificate to my husband who is based in Texas...

After that, will we be able to apply for a Spousal Visa Application??

What is the first step??

And how long do we need to wait??

Thanks and God Bless.....

Hi Markie!

Request for 3 copies from the NSO for future reference. Yes, spousal visa or CR1 Petition for Alien Relative (K3 is obsolete dear). Submit i-130 with all the documentations required. Click "Guides" on top of visajourney page for other relevant details. Keep in touch.

God bless!

what's with the G-325A form??

Will we fill this up all over again??

THanks,

Markie

Form G325A is the biometric information of both the petitioner and you, the beneficiary. Original copies should be submitted with the I-130 Form.

Update us with how far you'd gone with your papers,so we may help.

God bless!

Again? You don't have your marriage cert yet, how can you have filled it out already?

good luck on your marriage certificate from NSO..my wife went to get ours last week(we have been married 8 months) and we find out LCR hasnt endorsed it yet to NSO so we had to get on LCR to get their butt in gear so we dont know when NSO will get it. Lf i were you i would keep checking with LCR to insure it gets endorsed over to NSO so u dont run into the problem we did. by the way we are living in Gensan.

Two things. You can file the petition with only the local registrar's marriage certificate. You can fill out the G325a forms without any marriage certificate, as the only things asked about the current marriage are names, places and dates, that would come from the person's actual knowledge.

Study the Guides. Study the form instructions, particularly the I-130 instructions that speak of a need for a G325a from each spouse.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

Hi!

We got married 24 Sept.2012 in The Philippines (Tarlac City), the next day, my husband flew back to Hawaii and me back to Thailand. Our marriage certificate from NSO has been released 22 October 2012.

Dont stop following it up from the LCR.

Goodluck!
