I think it is natural and normal to eat food, wear clothes and go to work 5 days out of 7.... oh and of course to thow away my husbands porn collection...:lol::lol:

I dont think it is natural to live your life around a book that was or was not written by people who claim to speak for some god or other...

But as I only have to be concerned about my life I let others belive what they want... until they try to tell me I have to live like them because they think that is the right way to live...

Why is it ok to judge certain behaviours abhorant and evil despite any evidence that these behaviours have any adverse effect on society in general and the people who practice them in particular merely because the people that make these judgements have a belief system which forbids the behaviors.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Because people who have a religion are brainwashed into beliving that their religion is the only true path to god and eternal life.... so they belive that it is there job to impose their religion and its believes on everyone else... to save them from evil and to secure a special place in heaven for themselves....

However, we give licence to people to make these judgements and affect people's lives.

Of course it's a stretch, it's meant to be. However, there is a point to it, and that is, that for a religious person surely atheists are morally bankrupt and they can/do have a negative, even 'evil' influence far stronger than any influence a practicing homosexual could have.

licence = allow, and we do. Surely, to believe something that is unjustifyable is dangerous?

I think I am a very smart person and I believe in God and the Bible.... I don't like the inference that religious people are naive or dumb to believe what they do...

I don't try to shove my beliefs down people's throats though...
